Facilities
We cater for up to 59 residents at Kingswood Court through the three wings of the home.
Main House & Kingfisher Wing
These two areas of the home feature communal areas and a number of bedrooms, both private and shared, should couples wish to remain together. The main house rooms tend to be larger with higher ceilings, more in line with the building’s Georgian style. The Kingfisher wing has the most affordable rooms, still of high quality, and residents enjoy the same communal areas as the main house.
Kestrel Wing
Separate to the main house, the Kestrel wing is home to our specialist dementia care clients. It’s set up to be dementia-friendly, from the furniture to the décor, to minimise confusion and stress for those who suffer from dementia. We provide activities such as Music for Memory and simple stations where people can engage with familiar motions like hanging the washing or using a doorbell. It has separate dining and communal areas from the main house. Find out more about our specialist dementia care in Surrey or get in touch.
Dining
Our onsite chef cooks delicious meals for lunch and dinner, as well as providing tasty and nutritious breakfasts. The dining room in the main house is set up to feel luxurious, making the most of the beautiful Georgian architecture. For warmer weather, we also have an outside dining area from which people can eat while enjoying the beautiful grounds.
Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are served daily too.
Gardens
Kingswood Court was an old country home from the Georgian era. While it’s undergone modernisation to ensure we can cater to our residents, it still has the same beautiful feel. One of the benefits of this is our gardens. We have well-maintained lawns from which we have tea parties and gatherings in the summer months. There are also lots of flowers, trees and plant beds among the paths so residents who enjoy the outdoors can feel close to nature.
